Events
Does registration prove I attended an event?
No. RSVP or registration expresses intent and does not by itself earn attendance credit. Attendance recognition needs confirmed participation. Staff confirmation may be needed where a verified check-in is not available.
Who can edit or manage an event?
The event owner and members with the relevant management permissions can use the actions shown on the event. Being a registrant does not give you organizer permissions.
Groups and Group Management
How do I join a group?
Open a group and use its join or membership request action. Some groups require approval. A pending request does not yet make you a member.
What happens if a group request is accepted or declined?
An authorized group manager decides the request. An accepted request gives the membership access supported by that group. A declined request does not deduct points or require you to respond.
Who can manage members and group content?
Group roles and permissions determine who can approve membership, manage members, post or moderate content. Use the actions shown for your role; ordinary membership does not grant every management permission.
Which content belongs in a group?
Groups are for ongoing community. Use announcements for updates, events for scheduled activities, and the linked prayer, support or volunteer tools for those needs. Each content type follows its own access and notification rules.
Can I leave a group?
Use the available leave action in group membership settings. Leaving or declining an invitation is voluntary and does not create a points penalty.
Blogs and Community Content
How is a blog different from a discussion or request?
A blog shares something worth reading: an experience, reflection, idea, lesson or guide. Use discussions to start a conversation and the dedicated request modules to ask for prayer, support or volunteering.
What do I need to publish a blog?
Provide a title, summary, category, subcategory and content. A cover image and up to three existing system tags are optional. You do not need to configure perspectives to publish.
What does “What did this give you?” mean?
Perspective reactions describe your relationship to the article: I relate, I learned something, I see it differently, It changed my perspective, It inspired me, and Meaningful to me where available. They are not ratings of whether the author is right.
Can I comment without choosing a perspective?
Yes. You can leave a normal response, or optionally connect your response to a perspective. Keep it respectful and relevant. Authors retain control of their original writing.
What does “Show Me What I’m Missing” do?
When enough eligible community responses exist, it offers a relevant perspective that adds context or expands what you have explored. It should prioritize thoughtful human contributions rather than disagreement for its own sake.
Does Community Insight create opinions for readers?
No. Perspective maps and insights can organize existing eligible human contributions when enough data exists. They must not invent community opinions, experiences or consensus. Low participation can mean these features are not shown.
How do I report a blog or response?
Use the report action on the article or response and explain the concern. Reporting does not rate whether someone’s lived experience is believable. Moderation reviews the report.
Support & helping
How does asking for support work?
Create a support request describing what you need. Members can offer help, and available private chats let you discuss the request. Share only the details necessary for the help you are seeking.
Do I have to accept or chat with every helper?
No. Choose who you are comfortable engaging with and use the available chat controls. If you reach the active-chat limit shown by the app, close an existing chat before starting another.
How do I finish a support request?
Open the request and use its close and feedback actions. Confirm who actually helped and whether the need was resolved. Closing a chat or request without confirmed help does not prove service was completed.
Can I give honest negative feedback?
Yes. Honest feedback is welcome and does not automatically subtract someone’s points. Confirm actual help separately from the rating and explain concerns respectfully. Report a policy concern through the report workflow.
Do I have to answer a support invitation immediately?
No. Invitations and silence create no points penalty. Optional timing recognition starts from affirmative availability and requires meaningful confirmed help; it is not a deadline imposed on every invited person.
Questions and answers
How do I ask a question?
Open Questions and answers and describe the question clearly. Use the available classification and tags so the right members can find it. Keep private personal information out of the question.
How can I help answer a question?
Open the question and submit a relevant answer with useful explanation. You can respond to an answer where comments are available. Repeated or self-directed interactions do not create extra recognition.
What does an accepted answer mean?
The question’s author can select an answer that helped resolve the question. It records helpfulness for that question; it does not certify every factual statement in the answer.
What is a helpful vote?
A helpful vote tells the answer’s author that their response was useful. Give it honestly. Votes, selected answers and repeated interactions have their own recognition limits and self-interaction rules.
Quiz
How do I play a quiz?
Open Quiz and choose an available match or invitation. Read the instructions for the question count, difficulty and timer. In shared matches, both players use the same server-controlled round state.
Do I have to accept a quiz invitation?
No. You may decline or let it expire. This does not deduct points. An invitation is an option to participate, not an obligation.
What quiz activity earns recognition?
Eligible correct answers and completed matches can earn bounded recognition under the active policy. Winning or answering faster does not increase completion credit. Repeat opponent matches are limited to reduce farming.
Does an unanswered or cancelled round earn completion credit?
No. An unanswered question does not count as a correct answer, and a cancelled or abandoned round does not prove completion. These actions do not subtract points.
Connections
How do connection requests work?
Send a connection request from the available member action. The recipient can accept or decline. Access to member information continues to follow privacy and permission settings.
What happens if I decline or ignore a connection request?
No points are deducted and you do not have to explain your decision. A request does not establish a connection until it is accepted.
Do connections or message counts earn points?
Connection requests, accepts and message volume are context signals rather than points opportunities. Actual confirmed support or participation uses the relevant module’s rules.
