Connections
What if a connection makes me uncomfortable?
Use the available disconnect, block or report controls. Share only what you choose to share. A shared interest or accepted connection does not override your privacy choices.
Common ground
What is Common ground?
Common ground helps you discover people and activities through shared interests, hobbies and relevant community signals. A match is a suggestion for connection, not a guarantee of compatibility or safety.
How do I improve my Common ground matches?
Keep the interests, hobbies and skills you choose to share accurate. Privacy settings affect discovery. Editing these fields does not itself earn points or promise a match.
Do I have to act on a match or invitation?
No. Explore, accept, decline or wait when it suits you. Invitations, ignored suggestions and follow-up messages never create a points penalty.
What are Common ground follow-ups for?
Where available, plans and follow-ups help members continue an activity or connection they chose. They do not create an obligation to keep answering. Confirmed actual participation is separate from an invitation or a message.
Prayer Requests
How can I share a prayer request?
Use Prayer Requests, describe what you wish to share and review the available visibility settings. Avoid sharing another person’s private details without permission.
How can I support someone’s prayer request?
Use the available prayed, candle or encouragement actions. Helpful encouragement should be respectful. Repeated gestures and self-interactions do not create unlimited recognition.
Do prayer points measure the value of a prayer?
No. Recognition is a bounded record of community participation, not a measure of faith, sincerity or spiritual value. You can pray or receive prayer regardless of your points.
Volunteering
How do volunteer requests and offers work?
Where the module is available, requests describe a need and offers describe available help. Use the application or matching actions shown, discuss expectations and accept only a commitment that works for you.
When is volunteering recognized as completed?
An accepted match is separate from completed service. Completion needs the explicit confirmed source outcome. A cancellation, expiry, message or unverified hours claim does not prove completed volunteering.
Church and Enrollment
How do I join or follow a church community?
Open the church and use the available enrollment or membership action. Approval and access depend on the church’s settings and your role. Membership does not give you every management permission.
Do church membership or schedule edits earn points?
Membership and schedule edits are context signals. Verified church information and confirmed service use the active recognition rules; editing a schedule does not itself prove attendance or service.
Announcements and community feedback
What is an announcement for?
An announcement shares a community or group update. Its visibility, approval and notification audience follow the publishing context. Use an event for a scheduled activity and a request module for a specific care need.
Can I share a different opinion in a poll or feedback?
Yes. Honest participation is welcome. Eligible poll participation and feedback use bounded rules regardless of whether the opinion is positive or negative. Disagreement does not automatically reduce points.
Is check-in required?
No. Check-in is optional. An eligible daily check-in can earn bounded recognition, but missing a day does not subtract points or make you less deserving of care.
